For every foreign visitors, the first thing they will think of is whether they need a Taiwan visitor visa when they visit Taiwan. What I would suggest you to do is to make sure whether you meet the requirements of visa-free entry. If you hold certain passports, then you’d probably don’t need a Taiwan Travel Visa. However, if you are not on the list of visa-free countries, you will need to apply your visa before you arrive at Taiwan airport.
Requirements for Visa-Free Entry:
1.A passport with remaining validity of at least six months as of the date of entry.
2.Only applies to foreign visitors holding formal passports
3.A confirmed return air/sea ticket or air/sea ticket and a visa for the next destination, and a confirmed seat reservation for departure flight.
4.Not determined by immigration officers at ports of entry in the ROC to be otherwise ineligible.
⚡️Please make sure you meet the requirements above before you book any Taiwan hotel! ⚡️
